What is saved

The session cookie cosmo_rust_admin protects forms against forged requests, maintains session state and authorizes admins when they sign in. Despite its name, it is also used for visitors. The session may contain a campaign code to identify request sources and service data for voting.

The site opens without a consent overlay. Terms are accepted during registration with an email and password. The email address is not verified; check it carefully for receipts. The Secure, HttpOnly rustmain_customer cookie keeps you signed in for 30 days. The server stores the entered email, password hash, terms acceptance time and account-to-order links.

Your manual language choice is also saved in this technical session. Without a saved choice, the site uses your browser’s preferred supported language (Russian or English). Russian is the fallback if no supported preference is available. Switching languages does not grant analytics consent.

When cookies are used

The technical session is created when the page opens because it is needed, among other things, to protect forms and sign-in. The confirmation button acknowledges this use and accepts the user agreement. It does not subscribe you to marketing messages or replace separate consent to personal data processing where required.

Browsing the site and documents does not require registration.

Change analytics preferences on the Cookie preferences page. Deleting cookies signs you out and resets this browser’s site preferences.

If your browser blocks all cookies, choices cannot be saved and protected forms will not work.

Optional Yandex Metrica analytics

Version dated September 27, 2026. The RustMain homepage loads Yandex Metrica counter 112450125 for new visitors without a saved preference. A saved opt-out is respected. Analytics is used by individual entrepreneur Khasanov Alexander Igorevich. Its purposes are to evaluate advertising visits, “Join server” clicks and site usability.

When enabled, Yandex receives technical browser, device and connection information, including IP address, page address, referral source, campaign tags, cookie identifiers and page actions. Session replay records interactions with the page. Order, contact and admin access fields are marked as hidden from recording; their contents are not included in the click event. The counter is not loaded in the admin panel or for an authenticated admin.

Metrica uses its own cookies and browser local storage; their lifetimes may differ from the site choice period. See Metrica cookies and the Yandex privacy policy.

Browsing does not require registration. Analytics can be disabled in Cookie preferences. The registration checkbox remains separate and optional; leaving it unchecked saves an opt-out for subsequent pages. Consent is valid for no more than 90 days. To disable future counter loading, open “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of the site, leave analytics unchecked and save your choice. This does not automatically delete data already collected; contact the Provider about your data. Existing cookies can be deleted in browser settings.
